Privacy

This is a small site for MoatCell, Inc. There are no accounts, no logins and nothing to buy, so there is little to say here. What follows is the whole of it.

What we collect from you

Nothing you do not hand us. We run no analytics, set no cookies of our own, and use no tracking or advertising pixels. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to sell to anyone else.

The one place you can give us something is the early-access form. If you submit it we store the email address you typed, together with the date and the country your request came from, so that we can reply and tell you when there is something to try. That is the whole record. It is held in our own Cloudflare account, it is not passed to anyone else, and it is not used to send you anything other than news about MoatCell. Write to us and we will delete it.

What third parties see

Some files on this site are served by other companies. Requesting a file from any server necessarily reveals your IP address and browser details to whoever runs it. Those are:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) serves the typefaces.
• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) serves the graphics library used by the animation on the home page.
• YouTube hosts the embedded talk. It is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which means no tracking cookie is set unless you actually press play. If you play it, YouTube handles that under Google's privacy policy.

We receive nothing back from any of them. Each handles that data under its own privacy policy, not ours.

If you email us

The address on this site is an ordinary mailbox. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and continue the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else.

Your rights

Because we hold nothing beyond correspondence you chose to send, there is usually nothing to export or erase. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or want to know what we hold, write to kai@moatcell.com and we will action it.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
